dc.description.abstract The main purpose of the study was to establish factors affecting' performance in tendering process in the public institutions in Kenya the case of public works department in Nyandarua County. The objective was to establish Ethical practices, Staff qualification, Duration of award and ICT use and how they affect the performance of tendering process 111 the department of Public Works in Nyandarua County. The study was guided bythe Innovation Theory and the Contingency theory. Descriptive research design was adopted in this study. en_US
